Ladies,

Can you please offer me some advice. I recently cut all of my hair off die to it breaking off terribly. it started with my hair being a little past shoulder length. I was excited that it was growing so I went ahead and got a half sew in. this broke off my hair and took my edges off something terrible. depressed with how it looked i just cut it all off at the end of April. it is now October and it may have grown an inch or two the most and my edges are still non existent. Can you please suggest some regimens (sp) I can follow to get this stuff to grow. I have never had a problem with my hair growing out.. i just dont know whats going onCry

Also, what's your current regimen?  What have you been doing to take care of your hair?

Yes it is natural.

I have been washing and deep conditioning it once a week. other than that I dont really do anything else to it because I wear Lfs.

Along with what you already doing, I would suggest:

1. Prayer- if your desire is to have long healthy hair, god will give you the desires of your heart.

2. Moisturizer- that you can use daily

3. Oil- After applying you moisturizer seal with an oil

Also what kind of product are you using for your DC? Protein? Moisture?

Lacefronts are great protective styles .. Still looking fabulous while fully protecting your hair and growing it out underneath. Thumbs%20Up

I'm curious .. What shampoo and conditioner do you use?

I'd recommend moisturizing your hair with a water-based moisturizer and sealing with oil between applications of your lacefront .. Be careful with the tape/glue since you're trying to grow your edges back ..

Give it time, have patience - you'll get there! Remember hair grows on average .5in per month. For the five month time frame you've given since you cut all your hair off, the 2 inches of growth you've gotten seems to be right on target.

If you want to see results a little quicker, there are lots of growth aids out there to experiment with. Aside from that,... drink water, eat well, & consider a multivitamin for overall health. Scalp massages are our friends!

i have just been using the olive oil products in the green bottle. this would include the shampoo and conditioner. I also use their hair mayo sometimes for my deep condition.

No I havent changed anything in my regimen since I cut it off and prior to that i hated washing my hair so I would just use whatever I could find to get it over with (and my hair still grew). I dont even know what a protein treatment isErmm... (sighs and heads off to search for more infor on protein treatments)
