I know I should be reading posts and watching videos to find this stuff out but I have done all that for about 3 weeks now and still have the same problems.

- When I try to apply my wig, the hair always gets glued to my head! then when I try to lift it, the lace lifts! I clip the hair back before hand but when I tie a scarf around my head to set the lace the hair ends up stuck to my head!

- My own hair shows through the lace at the parting. You can see where my hair starts and ends. Am I suppose to part my hair to match the wig parting? I have dark brown hair and my wig is golden blonde so my hair shows through.

-When I put on my wig cap you could clearly see where the wig cap started on my scalp.

I'm not sure if I'm just being stupid but what am I doing wrong? How do all of these girls get their part and hairline to look so natural? My wig hair glues down, the lace grid shows over my hair underneath or my wig cap underneath. I'd rather not wear a wig cap but if my natural hair is dark brown and my wig is golden blonde I have to don't I? but then you can see my wig cap at my part and it always slips back. I;m about to scream. Ive never cried over my hair before but since I started trying to apply my wig with glue. I have cried. Alot lol

I try to press the lace down to make sure its pulled tight to my head but without fail the hair comes with it, when I try to really brush the hair back the lace goes with it because obviously its not attached to my head, then I pull the lace back down and the hair doesnt stay back.

Be patient and take your time. It will come together. Since you don't like wig caps, there are some options. I stopped wearing them long ago, because they would either give me headaches and/or slip back. Yes you can part your own hair to match the wig part if that's what you want to do. I just cut a piece of nude mesh-like material or taupe colored material and use spray adhesive to position it and slap it on the underside of the wig. You can also do this with a pair of cut up pantyhose that matches your complexion. Sexi Beach uses some silicon pad thingies that you can pick up from the drugstore. Experiment with a couple of things and see what works best for you.
Good luck and hope this helps some!

Okay,  I agree with the poster before me.

If you don't like wearing wig caps then use the stretchy self adhesive fabric plaster to to 'create' a bit of scalp where your parting is. You can apply some foundation to this if you need to create scalp.

OP, I can't remember are you in the UK? If you are I get my fabric plastic from Asda for about £3. If not try attaching a bit of fabric to the wig to create scalp in the part area.

If you do go back to wig caps then you can either 'glue' the cap to your head around the perimeter to stop it from moving or if your using tape you make sure the tape covers the cap edge by a bit to keep it in place. Then apply your wig.

What colour cap are you wearing?

As for your hair sticking to the glue. I try to not tie my hair down immediately so the glue dries a bit first.

DM me if you want!

Yes I am in the uk, did you mean you buy a fabric plaster from asda? Well my scalp is extremely light as I'm very pale skinned anyway so I'd need the palest flesh colours available

Yes, I did.

If your very light then I would suggest a blonde wig cap, cut a strip of and either sew it using invisible thread to the wig cap of just tape it in place with some wig/toupee tape.

I like using the bandage wrap method for hiding the grid, no cap necessary, it's optional.  I need to busy some of those bandage thingies that Sexi uses also and just do away with the bandage wrap altogether.  Less is better!
