There are a lot of people with good credentials who can't find a suitable job.
Welcome to America, princess

I understand, i feel for her. The immigrant experience isn't the same and the adjustment is hard. Esp. the isolation, the unfriendliness, the large-ness, of it all.

We had a big house there. Now we live in a small apartment. If I was home right now, I'd be in a very nice restaurant, on the beach, laughing with my friends.

My 2 teen male cousins now sleep with the light on and everyone else doesn't get it, but i do. The glass doors, sliding glass doors, no grille, the noises outside. Foreign can be scary. My cousin said, "Diane i wanted to come so bad, but when you get there you realise you are nobody in a big sea of people, you dont see the same folks everyday etc etc " And he was a "i cant wait to leave this hellhole place for uncle sam's land" yardie. My other cousin DID not want to go from jump but he had to. White serial killers and booogeyman are fun to watch on tv but sitting in the living room at night............smh

My gf is heading to the DR and i'm jealous, she is very meh about it though lol

ETA I forgot to write, how many posts until someone says "go home" or if your're country is so wonderful why did you come?

Homesickness is a wicked thing, y'all remmber that.

Nala...best believe ppl still think America is a bed of roses. I have heard ppl complain that relatives are demanding things because they live in America and it is much easier here.

Yes Homesickness is bad...but when u dwell on the negative that's what makes it worse. Coming from someone who has been a way from home for 15 years. Lived in Canada and the US.
