i have been trying to get my posts up so i can finally post this new topic.. the search didnt really produce too many results.

ok, so last wknd i went out clubbing with my friends... we were parked a few blocks from the club... when it was over, walking to our car... we got approached by some hood boogers who attempted to rob us... in the process of everything, a chunk of my REAL hair was pulled out! (i am ok & we all are fine.. they ran off when we started to scream.. i really dont want to talk about it *sigh*)

my dilemma now is a big bald spot is on the right side of my head above my ear. about 3 inches or so wide & its ALL skin! barely any hair there. Cry my hair is a good length  & i have been wearing high side ponytails with my hair naturally curly & hanging down to cover the obvious bald spot. but i dont want to keep constant tension in that area. so theres not too many other style options.

what do u guys recommend i do to help this hair grow back as quickly as possible? i need help. im very upset about this. Angry

You could try MT and maybe wigs or 1/2 wigs that way you dont have to be in your hair too much. I would stay away from braids or sew ins bc that may cause too much tension and make that area worse than better

I have a post up about thin edges around the temple area and a few ladies recommended things such as castor oil, MT, organics fertilizing temple balm. Also there's are a few growth aid post up such as OCT/MT/MN; you should check those out.

I'm sorry about what happened.

Almost the same thing happened to me, my hair was pulled out during a fight in October. I didn't relax for 5 mos. In the beginning I put mt on it and kept it moisturized with an aloe vera juice/rosewater/glycerine mix. I also upped my biotin intake. Its know long enough to braid so i had two tracks sewn in and continued with my mix. HTH
