I just got box braids done, for the millionth time. i really didnt want them to curl the ends, but they did without asking. i was curious if there is any way to get the curls out of the ends?? its synthetic hair so i know i cant use a straightener...

any help?

Hi Linzie-

Assuming, "synthetic" hair was used for you box braids:
 
simply take a section of hair at a time and "dip" the curly ends in boiling water.
 
be sure to have a towel/hair cape to drape your shoulders and immediately dry your ends w/ the towel to prevent scalding from the hot water temp.
 
****I used to wear double strand twist all the time.....I would alternate between wavy ends and straight**** (the african braiders used to plait my ends into jumbo braids and dip into boiling water, after dipping the ends, drying w/ a towel, they would unbraid the plaits and 'voila' ----->wavy ends, reversed for straightness) Thumbs%20Up
