After twisting, there is still some shrinkage. Has anyone devised a way to stretch twists to the max? I've currently got some duck clips on the end of my twists which lengthened them a bit more.

She stretches her twists by bantu knotting them. Them she remove the knots and then stretches the twists.

Do a braid out 1st then do a twist out

Or just do the twist out on blown out hair

I get massive shrinkage.  I either bantu knot them or wrap them like a relaxer.  When you wrap them, they are straight and really stretched.  If you want some curl to them, bantu knotting is the way to go.

Moisturize, then braid your twists. 2 braids one on each side, when you get to the end stretch the braid and pin it to the other side of your head(near the other braid). Do this at night so your hair has time to dry stetched. This is what I do, it gives them a little crinkle but definitley give them more hang time.
You could also try banding them at night.(same principle)

I do twists just to stretch my hair. I pick it out, I don't keep it twisted
