Do you guys sometimes do lunges and don't really 'feel' them working in your butt as much as squats and step-ups? I didn't feel anything until I came across this. Basically when you do lunges, don't think about putting your leg "forward or backward", think of the motion as "up and down." It sounds weird but when you think about going "up and down", you can really feel it working in your booty! "Up and down, up and down..."

Lunges is something I haven't been able to master, makes my knee hurt for some reason. Maybe I'm not doing them correctly. However I have improved my squats with this new method that was shared.

Why thank you!
I actually used to be a workout freak, so through my many workout DVDs I've learned the right form a few years ago. But I don't usually go as low as her, I guess that might help more once I get used to doing them again.

Another tip for lunges.. when coming up, you should be pushing from your heel and not your toes/or top of foot

Yep that's a good one and so true weavequeen! I try to always remember push up from my heels in most booty exercises!
