OK....so you think while following the laws of a Christian god can lead you to heaven, praying to that deity doesn't help your life? OK...gotcha!...Sooooo prayer doesn't really help this situation.
Let me ask you this...What things have led you to believe the curse is a supernatural thing? Or what supernaturals things make you believe you are cursed?

to tell you the truth karma doesn't exist. If it was true why are there so many pedophiles, rapists, murders that never get caught? Plus I am a good person. |
You believe in curses, but not karma? Interesting...
|
The belief of karma coms from a budhist belief in rebirth and reincarnation. Most people who use the term have no idea of it what it truly means. It is not that simple |
thats actually not true. but this isn't what your thread is about.

I interpret this as karma...
Galatians 6:7-11
***7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8 Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.***
As a Christian, I truly believe that you reap what you sow. I have seen karma come to pass in many people. Just because someone "appears" successful does not mean that he will not reap what he has sewn.
I also believe in curses especially generational ones. I feel that they can be broken with prayer and giving ones life to Jesus Christ. Moreover, certain ungodly acts can open the door to curses or allow them to remain. Just like cleaning up ones diet results in physical health, cleaning up ones life results in spiritual health.

This seems to be incredibly exhausting to keep track of, but extremely easy for one to simply pass of responsibility for their own life choices by blaming something else for one's own mistakes. What opens the door to so-called "curses" is believing in them in the first place. If you want to talk about a "curse" in terms of people's negativity having an effect on someone, I can see that, but only if that person buys into it. Believe it or not, there are some really nasty people who are very lucky in life, no matter how much we want to believe the contrary...or that they'll "get theirs" at a time or place we can't even verify will happen. You can clean up your own diet, but forcing your mother to stop eating McDonald's every day won't cause you to lose 10 pounds.
