I know from experience that a wig (full wig) can eat up your hairline even with the stocking cap covering your hair underneath. So I'm wondering has anyone found any other methods that is working to save your hairline while still wearing your wig?

I am trying the silk scarf but was curious as to other ways people have successfully protected their hairlines while wearing a wig.

How about a wearing a wrap underneath your stocking cap that way the wig cap and the stocking cap arent causing any friction.

i used to be a wig queen and u used to use the cap but i used to use my hair line out for blending purposes( i dont remember any major damage even tho the guy that used to do my perms was mad that i wasnt goin to him as much, he was spicy about it lol)...but i think simply having your hair line going BACK and under a wrap may not be the best thing in general...1. suffocation/then at nite for sleeping..no air to hair(more thatn with a weave) 2. pulling back/pressure (over time) ..i guess that is what he was worried about

my hair did ok though but may do more damage to someone else...

I don't know what type of wig you are or want to wear (lace front or BSS wig), but how about if you get a wig that you can wear in front of your  hairline?

Hmmm...I never heard of a wig that you can wear infront of your hairline other than a lace front wig. Could you explain or if possible post a picture of this infront of hairline wig you talk of? I am using BSS wig for now but wanted to consider lacefronts until I read (on here) that you should not wear it while pregnant.

I was more or less referring to a BSS wig with bangs in the front that would cover your hairline.
