Topic: How to pick the right vendor? Posted: Jan 13 2013 at 2:52pm |
This is my first time and I'm having a really hard time picking out a vendor. I spent several days researching hair companies and textures and just when I think I found the right vendor/texture/international shipper and I'm about this close to order, I always end up unearthing a review or two that tells me the hair is a hot ass mess! This happened 3 times already and it's so frustrating. Is it normal for every hair vendor to have at least one bad review or should I only go for a vendor that has 100% good reviews? (which frankly I haven't been able to find thus far?). The look below is what I'm trying to achieve but the company that the tester is using does not ship to Canada (she used Peruvian straight from Maaliyah). How do I go about this? I've been online for days on end and I'm getting a headache!

buying hair is always a gamble because overall they might have good hair but you receive a bad batch....

That's what it seems like, from my research . Jotted down the names of so many companies but I couldn't find any without at least one bad review (except Wagman's but I don't like the fact that their hair is known to have nits). Anyway, thanks for answering

All hair companies have bad reviews. ..it depends on how many bad reviews that the company's hair should determine if you should proceed or move on.

I see. Good to know. I was thinking that all my searching was in vain. I will try to pick the hair with the least bad reviews, then. Thx

A company may have a bad review because the buyer just didn't know what they were getting into when they were ordering, because of the buyers miscommunication, or clear lack of knowledge when ordering the hair. Make sure you read both good and bad reviews in debt to make sure that the "bad things" actually matter to you, and that the reviewer is a informed buyer.

If you find one or two bad reviews out of maybe 100 or so, I honestly wouldn't be too worried. You have to remember that just because people are ordering hair doesn't mean they know what they are doing and how to take care of it. If someone is rough on hair, it's gonna look a hot mess with the quickness regardless of the price paid for it. Personally, I have used Milky Way Saga many times and although some people have negative things to say about it, I have always managed to keep it silky and looking good for 3-4 months at a time. How you care for the hair is always one of the most important factors.

^^ What she said.
There was a youtube guru who ordered from this big time company
on AE. I wont say any names. But she said it was shedding and she will not recommend
the hair. But the same video she also said that she barely brushes it, combs it, moisturize,
AND not wash it. Sooo of course it's gonna shed....Later she came back with a review on
the SAME hair!! It looked better and she wind up saying it was her fault cause she didn't
take care of it...after thousands of video views...And also you got those customers who loves
to blackmail the companies to get more hair. Yeah...lets not forget them... But anyways
pray and communicate. Research and make sure the company reviews are not going downhill.
