i  am able to do really good blow outs, but by the 2nd day my hair looks terribly dry and even feels that way.

I deep condition, then while my hair is soaking wet- i add my evoo and shea butter. I almost add some frizz and heat protectant then blow dry. When im done, i add some chi silk infusion (well this was the first time i did this, normally its just evoo)

What can i do to moisturize my hair without adding a product that will revert my hair?

DO NOT...i repeat DO NOT blowdry soaking wet hair...blowdryers just suck all the moisture out so you wanna reduce the amount time u have to spend blowdrying...for my blowout i washed/conditioned and then add my leavein and seal and then band it w/ ponytail holders (or you could do big twists/braids to keep it stretch while it dries) and then when its mostly dry but a lil damp (i waited over night), put the frizz and heat protectant (i used CHI silk infusion 2 & CHI iron guard) and then blow it out...my hair stayed pretty moisturized for about a week and to maintain the softness/moisture i used shea butter and/or castor oil, but if thats to heavy you can probably use EVOO or coconut oil

I keep my hair moisturized by sealing with coconut oil and using satin scarfs, pillow cases, and/or bonnets.

i agree about letting hair air dry about 80% before blowdrying
