Any advice would be helpful.
I havent had it all my life but this last year its just shown more. I started lacking with proper scrubbing to my neck and it resulted in a dark neck.

Im washing and exfoliating, but they dont seem to be working, does anyone have any advice that can really work? thx

Do you use a thick moisturizing lotion for your neck and chest? I started to pay more attention to cleaning and scrubbing these areas, and put on a thick lotion or a moisturizing body oil on after showering, and it made the skin look nicer and a bit lighter.

order some retin-a 0.025-0.1%, gradually go up on the strength you use....over time your neck will start to peel (exfoliate) during this time use eucerin fortifying lotion to sooth the peeling for about a week....after that start combining 4%hq or nadinola extra strength with the r-a this will greatly lighten that area---if you have any questions pm me

+1.  It can be a symptom of both conditions.
