I've just resently cut my hair to about an inch. I decided to texturize my hair and i am very pleased with the outcome. Everyone compliments me on my hair. I have a very important question. How often is it necessary to texturize. I've used soft and beautiful botanicals texturizer and i love it. I think its amazing.

Yours truly

my hair is longer, but i pkan to texturize maybe once a year. maybe till i reach my hair goal of brastrap. then i will transition back to all-natural!

but for shorter styles, depending on how fast your hair grows and how often you cut it, maybe once every 1-2 moths

Yes, good question about the texture.

My hair is 4a with some 3c parts and I texturise every 8-10 weeks if I can stretch it out that long.  I am about 7 weeks post texturiser and I have some funky new growth.  I think a treatment is in order for me so the hair doesn't staret shedding which happens if I wait toooo long.

My hair is growing so fast, that I don't know what to do. My first texturizer was a flop....didn't leave it on too long. My next, was great. My hair is more wavy than curly, but it is growing so fast, I don't know how often to retouch it. My hair has literally went from 1" twa to almost 6" on less than 2 months! This is a first for me and I'm afraid to mess it up. I'm afraid to retouch my hair again, but it is almost uncontrollable! Any tips, anyone?

Hi everyone.

A newbie here (to texturizing and this website). I just got my first texturizer in February and I am interested in growing out my hair.

Natrlchallenge, almost 6 inches?  What else have you been doing to your hair within those two months? I am very, very curious.

Also, this question is for weave it up: how do you transition back to  natural? And how can I view your website? Thanks in advance everyone.

I did a pre shampoo w/ glover's mane, sulfur8,and castor oil- then I shampooed w/ ORS shampoo and conditioner in which I spiked it w/ msm powder.   after that, I Surged and used the ORS carrot oil as a leave in cond. Alot, right? But since I texturized and did this, my hair started to grow so fast, that it made my head spin! I also cut down on my caffeiene intake.....dunno if that did anything special. I recently started using Dr. Diracles temple and nape balm. I'm a couple of inches from making a tiny pony tail! I'm really amazed at my hair's condition!
