Well I'm 14 weeks post texlax & I've decided to transition!! Can't believe I'm doing it...but I'm still not at my goal & I think it's because I'm still using chemicals. I don't plan on cutting my chemically treated ends, I'm just going to baby my hair & hopefully when it gets to the current length (MBL) natural, I'll cut off what little texlax ends are left...

Congratulations on your decision JewelsClap

but how would transitioning help you reach your goal?  if you havent reached a length goal its because your ends are breaking off.  transitioning is great for all the obvious reasons but you still have to figure out why you hair is breaking off and manage that.

Thanks Tatee. I think it's more so my overall health/fullness of my hair. At this point I use a mild & I cut the chemical with olive oil so it's just a matter of stopping that all together.

LOL you think? I'm nervous. I haven't not had some type of chemical in my head since I was a kid. I don't even know what to do! I'm glad I stopped wearing my hair out because I would go crazy trying to conform to buns.

I should start a thread...but I'm not doing a big chop so I guess it won't be exciting...
