i did my first straightener on myself....very scary btw. but now i am confident i can do them on my own if i find a better product.

um it was a very cheap one and almost by accident....i apologize to the hair gods...LOL

but i didnt leave it on very long so as not to harm my hair w/ a cheap product. it was quick and lots of rinsing...etc...

yah but i should have bought a more expensive relaxer i think. i tried to moisturize, my hair feels stiff. soft and all but its like not going in the style i want. Ouch

is how do i fix it? i dont want to resort to washing again....like i can wait i guess. but how would u fix a bad one? and i dont want to cut anything. its not that damaged at all....

No matter what relaxer you use, it doesn't have to be the same one, you need to wait at least six weeks so as not to overprocess. In the meantime, take good care of your hair; dc, moisturise, seal, etc.

So, what if you relaxed your hair at like 11 weeks post and washed the relaxer out too early...when is safest to reapply another relaxer?

Sometimes I think I dreamed that I put a relaxer in my hair b/c it looks as though a relaxer NEVER touched my hair!!

Is two weeks too soon? or should a wait a least month or so?
