I don't have a problem telling. I mean, the chances are pretty slim that I would be at my hairstylists at the same time as the person I told.

I do my own hair, so that's never really an issue. And I've found that
outside of BHM, very few black women are interested in spending "good
money" on quality hair direct from CVs...so I don't waste time preaching
to choirs. But with nail or threading salons, I have no problem sharing
that info. For the most part I stick to basic mani-pedis, so they're
really a dime a dozen and I'm not at risk of ever having a "BHM" effect
on a nail/threading salon in NY. :)
