Also I like Vitamin water zero.

My friend's mother had a lot of success with the carb blockers (vitacost brand) when she DOES eat carbs. I bought some but always forget to take them Cry

Yeah, some things I'm gonna have to banish because I don't have the discipline when it's in my face. I wish I were the type of person who can take one small piece and leave the rest for another day, but I'm not...

fruit satisfies my sweet cravings
a good trick is to have tea with honey--i'll then have like one or 2 cookies--that total 140 calories or less for the sweets-

i have the ultimate sweet tooth. For me its go hard or go home. I had to detox myself from all sugars(fruit included) for about 3mos (im an extreme case, 20 days is probably good for you, lol) and they continued to eat clean and started eating fruit. Still NO processed sugars with the exception of the Dannon light and fit greek yogurt.

Now, i do have something sweet once a week as but i make sure its satisfying an worth. i don't go get a Oreo...no i go to the best bakery in town and get a slice of the richest piece of chocolate cake they have.

Honestly...if you don't detox first...you going to binge because everything will be a trigger.

I also do not keep anything sweet in my house either. So after my treat for the week...its either some greek yogurt or some gum i keep in my purse. i don't have the discipline to get 1 or 2 cookies.

i've noticed that a lot ppl  with from the Caribbean. They don't really like the heavy desserts. maybe its because the fruit there is much sweeter than what we grow up on in the states? idk...

I have a sweet tooth as well, but I'm learning how to decrease the cravings by buying only ONE sweet item and savoring that (popsicles, dark chocolate, pastries, etc). I also munch on dark chocolate and sometimes I make my own sweet but healthy sweet snacks. My fav is apple crisp, I learned this in home-ec in high school. Slice up 1-2 apples and lay on a cake pan. Mix together sugar (i use brown), butter, oatmeal and cinnamon together to form the crust on top. Crumble the mixture on top of the apples and bake until soft. It's soooo freaking good! To make it even healthier instead of adding vanilla ice cream on top add vanilla greek yogurt.
