Hello, I have a very dark upper lip shadow. I am 16 years old and I made the mistake of starting to wax and use hair removal creams about a year ago because I already had a dark upper lip shadow and I was trying to get rid of it. As of result of waxing and using the hair removal creams, I have just made it worse and enlarged the pores on my upper lip. It truly looks like I had a mustache!

IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO TO MAKE THE SHADOW ON MY UPPER LIP GO AWAY OR ANYWAY TO HIDE IT ON A DAILY BASIS? I love looking at my skin in the mirror and just when I think my face looks flawless....BOOM...this big dark shadow ruins it. Please help.

Thanks! :)

i suggest you buy 100% shea butter. I get my from my local beauty store. 8oz is about ten dollars. In the mean time you can invest in a foundation to cover and hide the dark area.

use dream matte mousse by cover girl it works great on covering up dark spots, i have dark spots too.  u can see if your insurance covers laser hair removal too.  also, try some stuff called vaniqua u will need to get it prescribed by your doctor, though but it works wonders.  Hope that helps

I been trying to figure out the same thing.  For some reason the hairs on my lip are blond but the skin is dark. I need a solution quick. I wan to look perfect this summer and that is the last part of the puzzle.

Modelingirly I did the SAME thing but i was 14 years old. It seems most of the women in my family have peachfuzz/slight stache above the lip.  I too noticed that after i started doing it my skin was becoming more dark and uneven. The two things that im combating it with is shea butter( it REALLY WORKS WONDERS)..and i started laser hair removal. I dont now how old you have to be to get LHR, but try the pure shea butter and stay consistent with it, You should definately see results. :) HTH

#1.  I use Nair to get rid of unwanted upper lip hair.

#2. Then when I'm ready to do my makeup, I use concealer on the area lightly.  Then I use foundation on the area very lightly and then follow up with a light pat of press powder.

Either step will work or both at the same time.

Good luck!

do a chemical peel...i recommend a tca peel...itll take a few

use mederma(you can find it at walgreens cvs eckerd)

or esoterica(found the same place)

these work REALLY WELL for a permanent solution...make up is great and all but you gonna have to do that forever
