In MLK's case  I wouldn't say he was a bad parent because he was absentee.....considering he was away fighting for civil rights/equality.

I think me may have been a "bad parent" because of the way he interacted personally with his kids......Just like he was a bad husband by sleeping with prostitutes and having mistresses.

Spoiled children didn't really live the struggle but will profit from it.
No loyalty to their father, only loyal to $$.

So 10 million each wasn't enough to make them want to cherish their father possessions....wow.

Its quite terrible that the kids cannot settle this amicably. Bernice should be able to keep the bible and nobel peace prize. Its part of the family legacy. Do any of these siblings have kids. Hopefully the kids wont go through this drama for the sake of their grandad.

I was reading an article about  other famous families like Geo. Washington, Einstein, Crick who sold some of their items either at auction or private seller. Apparently it's somewhat common. Seems lik e the big issue here may be the acrimony amongst them about it.

I don't know how I feel about it though. If the 3 of them are having this much drama over it now , I can't imagine what will happen after they're dead and the possessions are then shared by 12 people (their heirs). Not to mention 50 years from now when with more heirs.

Might be best to settle it now once and for all.
