what if you are middle skint? like, your not light or dark? or are we just going by the paper-bag rule? |
I think women who aren't dark are fascinated by dark skin, while dark women are fascinated by light or lighter skin. Like I said I know not everyone thinks like this (I don't) but I think a lot of people do. Why?

Im not fascinated, I just think light skin men are softer. I like me a big black nigra, he has to be dark to light brown like me but he can't be lighter than that.

I
see what you mean but it's kind of like the difference between a black
woman who dates a white man and a black man who dates a white woman.
Black men just do it so much more that black women are jaded. I wasn't
even going to go there because to me that's a whole other can of worms.

I have noticed this time and time again in conversations w/ other women. Not EVERY woman, but def in most.I don't discriminate. However, I do find myself drawn to darker men, it's not a conscious decision. I don't like red, blue or green cars, I like silver, gray and white. I don't like yellow, red and green clothing. why? Cream1970,
Now that's a damn lie
Most Black men are attracted to light women, no matter what color they are... so is there really a taboo over Black men being attracted to ls women?
Or are Black men expressing the supposed superiority of ls women over ds women the "do NOT, under ANY circumstances, express that thought. You are indeed, the Devil" case?

I'm too sleepy to answer fully, but do Black women that are drawn to darker men think they're "superior" over ls men or is that just what tickles their fancy/catches their eye? I am more attracted to ds men. I don't think they're "superior." IF I were more attracted to ls men, I would simply (I believe) it would be because they just catch my eye. Why the difference just because of gender? Black women can express what their preferences are w/ little to no backlash. But all Hell breaks lose when Black men do it. Why can't they simply like what they like? I don't know what they're thinking, I am just trying to understand why one is acceptable and the other isn't.

Black men can prefer whatever they like, but to ONLY mess with one type for any sex is eyebrow raising.
