Like ramen noodles and vienna sausages.

LOL

I'd have to say old cooking grease and  stale air that may or may not be contaminated with old smoke

Since the lottery goes back to the state, I don't really get this law. Plus, its not like you can use food stamps to buy lotto tickets. So, if someone wants to use cash to purchase tickets, who cares?

Well I know in NY and back home in IN, lotto was supposed to go towards education. You would think that you wouldn't mind if the EBT recipient was buying lotto tix as it was going back into the system and in a way supporting their own.

It's just this proposal doesn't really come across as making any sense. I understand saying, don't buy booze and ciggies with EBT. But you can't buy lottos with EBT anyway. So since you can basically only buy it with cash (at least here in NYC), how do you go about confirming that you're not selling lotto tix to a welfare recipient?!

Y'all better recognize.

All these efforts are no different than convincing poor black people to leave their homes, redistricting voting districts to allocate money to their neighborhoods, sterilizing black women...etc., etc. Today they have found new ways of bringing up their evil ways of the past.

This is war on the poor and wealth redistribution upwards on a greater scale.

ETA: essentially, this comes off as racial profiling being condoned in NC. If they're saying that although AA's only make up 12% of the general population but half of their welfare recipients are AA's...how do you go about confirming or denying that the customer buying tix is on welfare?

And all someone has to do is go to a different store. I went to college in NC, it's not like there's only one store in all of NC that sells lottery tickets. Confused

**yikes...sorry I meant to add this on my original postEmbarrassed
