Didn't read the whole thing but that statement of his bothers me to this day. And I'm not even american. I wonder if him getting 95% of the black vote yet again will sway him a bit this time around.

I'll never buy into the notion that our blk leaders don't care about us. Never

I still don't understand or why they even thought that Obama would be on some extreme advocacy for the black community. He pretty much made it clear from day one that he wanted everyone to work together and he was against divisiveness. So how some blacks turned that into him being on some Malcolm X sh*t...I don't know. | All of that is fair and true, but what irks me is this unwritten rule that supporting his ass is the most pro-black thing a negro in America can ever do. Like its our natural duty. But yet at the same time he can politely say fucc yall, without actually saying it.
Not that I care, because I know the real deal, but its sad to see my people fawning over someone who doesn't care are them

What worries me about Us is that it's almost as though we're damn near begging the gov't the control our every move. Instead of banding together and bettering our communities, we'd rather whine and complain about the gov't not doing their so called job....when in reality we have all the power to change sh*t.

It's not the fed's job to babysit the black community. They are there to uphold the constitution and keep "terrorists" from crossing our boarders.

Rev Sharpton fought for your right to attend school and now we talk low of the man ? If a white cop shot you , Rev sharpton would be the first to fight for you . His track record to fight for our people goes back to Dr king . I would stand with Rev sharpton before any of these fly by night so call prophets . I only read a few pages of the topic . JMO .

Let's be honest, African Americans can do better than what we're doing right now but African Americans (as a group) can not be prosperous in Amerika

Rev. Sharpton and Rev. Dr. Dyson never stopped anybody from using their own brains. If these tricked black people have access to MSNBC in the first place, then I'm pretty sure that they have access to internet, to other stations, and can do some research on their own. Critical thinking is clearly endangered.

G T F O O H!!!! Ain't nobody studdin that BS. Al Sharpton, Dyson and nobody else is thinking for me. That's a lot of the problem.....some black people are their own worst enemies. Hell, the racists ain't gotta do shyt, just let these fools do it for em. SMH!!!! President Barack Obama is the President of the United States of America, not Black America. How many times are they gonna have to hear that for it to soak in?! And me personally, wouldn't want a President who is just looking out for one race. Crazy as hell!
