The author is trying to convince us that Barack, Al, & Michael amongst others, dont give a fucc about us. That is so far from the truth. The proof is in the pudding these men & many other blks have done NUMEROUS things for the black community & continue to make strides for us everyday. How anyone can say nobody cares about blacks is beyond me. From a show like Save our Son to Steve Harvey Mentoring weekend, to the Trayvon rallies... People care, they've been caring & never stopped |
what do you expect from someone that thought Romney was going to win...

the best thing about that article was that I am not alone in thinking Dyson talks too fast the author is entitled to his opinion, but I don't think it was presented in the best way. He criticizes Sharpton and Dyson, but what solutions can the author offer? If he believes that Sharpton/Dyson don't care, what are some things that they can do to help? why, exactly, do their efforts fall short of the author's expectations? (and we don't even know what they are) what can the author himself do to help??? if this man has such an issue, then he could be constructive and come up with some helpful strategies or something.

Them Boule ass mofos have using blacks even before that Hamite was elected, so this is nothing new. Most of our people, especially women, ain't trying to hear that however because through history they have been groomed under this delusion of inclusion
The only so called black leader I can appreciate is Charles Baron of Brooklyn. He actually cares about mobilizing our communities and keeping the other nations from making money off of us in our own neighborhoods. But them crakkkas in NYC be giving him hell though smh.

I still don't understand or why they even thought that Obama would be on some extreme advocacy for the black community. He pretty much made it clear from day one that he wanted everyone to work together and he was against divisiveness. So how some blacks turned that into him being on some Malcolm X sh*t...I don't know.

this is what he said
The smart thing to do would’ve been to secure something, such as legislation to reduce black unemployment or mass incarceration, before the election, but we weren’t smart. We were tribal.
==================
I was like WHAT?? What are we supposed to do to combat that?? It's up to blk ppl to stop committing crimes that'll keep them out of jail. Also as far as unemployment, we can't force ppl to hire us & neither can the president. Affirmative Action goes but so far. We have to put our best foot forward & grab the bull by the horns.

Like its our natural duty. But yet at the same time he can politely say fucc yall, without actually saying it.
Not that I care, because I know the real deal, but its sad to see my people fawning over someone who doesn't care are them

^BHM approved of it in the thread we had about it. Yvette must've gotten her talking points from West and Smiley because they too were complaining about Dyson & Dr. Melissa Harris Perry being sell outs or something last week. Hatin' on the Black folk who work on msnbc I guess lol Meh.
