@darlinnic, my "hairdresser" told me the same thing when I went natural. Ppl just have a hard time admitting that there are better ways to take care of hair than tradition and chemicals.
But I don't understand ur question about edges

The questionwas for mizbrit BUT it most definitely for you as well since I see your in a bun/ponytail as well.
If your always in a bun... Do your edges start receding because of the tension?
Are you not always in a bun?
I LOVE buns but I'm afraid my edges will get shorter and shorter.

I don't pull my buns in that tight. I never wrap my hair bands around more than twice. I just slick my edges back well and wrap a scarf around them until they dry and take it off so they look smooth/tight. I wear a bun probably 4 days a week.

honestly, i dnt bun my hair for prolonged periods. but when wearing one i make sure it isnt tight or pulling on my hair and that my edges are well moisturized
