This. Ultrasounds aren't always 100% so it may not have detected anything. Just like how sometimes they detect that babies are one sex and end up being the opposite. I just hope they don't mistreat the baby or anything because of this. |
i would hope that this is the case. the article doesn't mention any specific disabilities but just that they are severe. not everything shows up on ultrasounds, and some things can't be detected until later on in the pregnancy.
if they were to put her up for adoption, she would simply stay in the system. it is rare that a child w/ severe disabilities gets adopted, for a number of reasons.
