err... did you send out an APB alerting the neighborhood? LOL
Years ago, my sister's neighbor had reptiles (boa, iguanas) and I wasn't so afraid of the snake, but those lizards!! I couldn't sleep when I'd visit her. I'd always tell her that one might get loose and come into her apt thru the vents. She said that was impossible. Yeah, right.

this is a sad story about the boys.

reading more abou t how the  snake escaped the enclosure. I'm wondering if that was his first 'venture out.' He could very well have been making previous escapes out of that cage thru the vent and no one knew. Scary. I know people who own large reptiles too--pythons and boas.

<<You have to be very, very careful in providing an enclosure for these animals so they cannot get out, because they are very, very good at getting out of their spaces," a zoo manager said>>

@purple, nah i didn't alert the neighbors...i lived in oakland at the time and it probably wouldnt have gone over well since the neighbors dont even speak lol.  ball pythons are very domesticated, non aggressive and usually starter pet snakes.  he was only about 2 feet at the time and still eating mice.  I also had a rotweiler so i thought maybe he caught him in the backyard.  i don't like any other reptiles either, especially lizards!  im afraid of little animals with feet.LOL

It looks odd to have the two boys playing in a reptile tank and pictured with snakes.
I'm sure the authorities will investigate if there are any cult activities.

Human sacrifice?

Some people let their kids do all types of crazy mess. Steve Irwin joked about his daughter getting bit by a crocodile.  That little girl raised in the bush and played with lions is another one. They looked happy in the photos and what happened was a freak accident.
I think any of us who have had pets have had them get out at least once. I had a cat missing for a month. Thought the damn thing was dead then in the middle night the cat comes back meowing at the front door. My hamster would push his way out of the cage, fall four feet to the ground and walk around like it was nothing.

Prazol....I've always wondered about stuff like that.  I've watched bugs fall the equivalent the Empire State building and walk run away.
