Topic: Horrible cellulite!!! Posted: Jul 07 2012 at 4:48pm |

Hi! Can someone help. Ive been taking fenugreek, maca and red clover for about a month seriously. I have been taking 6+ herbs off and on for 5 months but I finally decided to get serious with those 3. Today out of nowhere I'm in a dressing room and I looked in the mirror in horror. I have only once in my life seen a worse case of cellulite. I'm shipping with my daughter on the verge of tears. I've always had a little but of cellulite, but nothing like this. It's mainly on my thighs. A band of cellulite about 1 inch in width is wrapping around my left thigh. The worst part is that I already dry brush about 3 times a week, I dont eat fast food, or any bad food and I do squats, lunges and kickbacks for the last month. Its like my cellulite has quadrupled overnight. Please help! Thank you!

Thank you, I will definitely look into kelp. I just reread my first post, forgive me, I sound so illiterate. I was typing on my phone while shopping.

Maybe one of those pills is doing it, because mine has never been as bad in my life as it is now. Same place, same problem. If I run my hand over my thighs it feels like it's scaling the Rockey Mountains. :/ I even hate for my bf to touch my legs, and I refuse to wear anything other than pants and boy shorts even though it's summer. I'm so miserable.
I just started dry brushing with hopes that it would help, but maybe not...

Thank you brebr3, I checked out what you said worked for you. I would totally get it, but.... I do not want to lose any weight at all. Im 5'5 and only 115. But I do have to add something for circulation. Epo? Natty, was it you who posted something about a friend's acv, coconut oil and coffee mixture? I'm slabbing it on right now. Ill let you know if there's any progress next week.

If you dont already, make sure to put lotion on your whole body everyday after taking a shower. Ive lost a lot alot of weight and this has helped the most im too lazy to try dry brushing yet :) hth im sure cellulite is different for skinny ppl, probably a lot easier to treat! Just dont worry you can always do things to improve it :-)
I recently got a firming and toning lotion from Sallys with collagen in it and it helps fill in any imperfections. The results arent permanent but its still useful for going out :D

My sister is slim with cellulite as well as has used something called Aztec Indian Clay. It is supposed to tighten and detoxify the skin. Topical cellulite treatments would work very well and fast for you since you are slim. Dry skin brushing helps more than anything since it helps drain lymphatic fluid. I think dry brushing is the main reason why these thunder thighs of mine are cellulite free. AZTEC SECRET INDIAN HEALING CLAY. Z You can purchase this online or at your
local whole foods.
When the powder (Aztec secret Indian healing clay) is
mixed with organic apple cider vinegar it becomes a very detoxifying,
tightening, powerful clay.
Make your clay (directions on the jar) and
apply to your cellulite (I cover my thighs and but) let dry. It takes a while so
be sure you're in a comfy position as this stuff turns very hard and gets
extremely tight. I usually stand (the price we pay to fix our imperfections lol)
you can lay down in the tub too. Whatever works for you.
As it dries it
will get very tight. Your skin will feel tight and unmovable (it's working..)
let it be.
If you have sensitive skin you may want to test on a small
patch of skin first.
When it's Finally dry (45 min -1hr later.. Bring a
book or radio) fill the tub up with warm comfortable water and soak. This will
soften the clay as it is hard to just scrub off. Soak for as long as you want
(the clay is a very good detoxified and will pull toxins from your skin so you
may feel tired after the bath but that's a good thing!)
stand up and
rinse the rest off.

Thank you Brebr3, I am soooo excited to try this when I get home next week (im visiting my mom and my suitcase is already full to capacity). Babygurl, I def will get that lotion too, even if it is for a quick fix. I just ordered a bikini and I want to actually wear it this summer. Do you have a name for the lotion? or is it ther only one there and I can't miss it? @Natty, are you reading this? Lol at Rocky mountains.

Lol Of course I'm reading this! I'm desperate!
I just found out that estrogen can cause cellulite, especially for people who already have the crappy cellulite genes. So even though my Hops, Fenugreek, Saw Palmetto and Maca are ALL supposed to cure cellulite, I guess the fact that my body's pretty much producing estrogen for the first time in my life is overpowering them (although I still can't believe those things are supposed to cure it and are actually causing it. FML).
I also read that the best way to get results from the cream/lotion/whatever you decide to use is to apply it at night after dry brushing and rinsing off, then put on thigh trimmers while you sleep. It's sort of like a coconut oil wrap, that heats the skin up and helps it absorb and work better. I'm going out to get thigh trimmers this week! I can't get rid of this stuff fast enough!
And that Aztec clay stuff sounds AMAZING! I'll have to look for it next time I go to Vitamin Shoppe (it's become my new favourite store!)
