stumbled across another article where they included this troublesome quote...
“I would have been cool with his HIV status if he had been honest,” said Lee, who’s brother to Honey Boo Boo’s father, Sugar Bear. “I don’t have an issue with the disease. “I would have known how to protect myself.” why are gay men so willing to sleep with hiv positive men? |

Hmmm...that is very disturbing. Condoms sometimes aren't enough. Big risk.

Uncle Poodle seems like the stereotypical gay guy who was just having sex all willy nilly...because if he wasn't that type, why the need to get hiv tests so often (basically monthly)? And if you're that irresponsible to need them monthly, I don't think it's fair to press charges since you're actively and consistently not protecting yourself. At that point, I think you're at least as much at fault.

I can understand this. I don't watch the show so I'm not familiar with his character, but his need to have such frequent STD testing did make me raise an eyebrow. It's obvious that he isn't using protection.
