Today i hennaed my hair. I kept in 10 hrs!!!! I never leave it in that long but family visited unexpectedly. I noticed my hair didnt shrink as much when wet so i dont know what to expect when dry?????

After rinsing my hair for another 15-20m my hair is not back to normal so i will have to do a hard protein treatment.

Sorry, i missed this.   Wednesday night, i prepped my hair by spritzing with aloe juice to remove the shed hair.

Normally, i mix with water but thursday i used aloe juice (inner gel fillet). I used v05 to condition & remove the remainder of the henna after rinsing w water.

Before my next wash, i will use whole leaf aloe juice since it seems to restore elasticity. If that doesnt work, i will use a commercial protein product.

Can I add cornstarch to my mix? It came out too runny.

Wouldn't that be hard to rinse out?  I would air it out so the water would evaporate..  Just a thought.

you left a heavy clay in your hair for 10 hrs...OF COURSE its not going shrink up as usual...henna coats and can weight hair down...it will spring back up in a week a two, there is nothing wrong

A protein treatment is unnecessary and may end up making your hair really hard and dry, as henna acts like a protien and you will be over doing it
