I recently got my hair done in a Sengelase twist hairstyle a few weeks ago. During the first week, I noticed that some of my twists were unraveling. During this past weekend,I went back to the stylist to have her retwist the ends. However, today I noticed that some of the twists are starting to unravel againAngry

I feel like this style was a waste of money and time. Im not sure if its the hair (I used expressions kanakeloan hair as she suggested) or her not doing a good job..Does anyone have any suggestions on ways I can effectively seal the ends of my twists without having to go back to the lady? This has happened to me before.
I think this is caused when braiders don't twist all the way to the tip.

You can either dip the ends in VERY hot water - this gets the kanekalon fibers to melt slightly so they can fuse together, sealing the ends.

I think I also tried braiding the tips - like 3 times - to keep them from unravelling, then dipping after.

^^^Boil some water and dip the ends of the hair. That should prevent the unraveling and keep the twists looking neat. When I wear braids/twists I usually dip them once a week to minimize any frizzieness. HTH
