My baby sis got her undergraduate in Sociology and will complete her Master's in counseling in May. She didn't have much luck finding work, except volunteer work, in her field until recently.

Job Summary:
The purpose of the Targeted Case Management program is to support people
who experience mental illness to access supports to live successfully
in the community, reduce the risk of re-hospitalizations, homelessness
and incarceration. Through the development of an individualized service
plan this position assists the people we serve in gaining access to
resources, including but not limited to housing, health insurance,
medical and mental health supports, employment and educational
participation, legal services and social networking.
Status: Full time. Hours 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, may vary based on the needs of the program.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (with major course work in sociology, social work,
psychology, gerontology, anthropology, criminal justice, theology,
nursing counseling or education)
- 1 year experience in the mental health field required
- Spanish speaking skills preferred
- Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Able to pass child abuse, state police and FBI clearances.
