Hello all,
I have been transitioning my hair using sew ins. The problem is my edges will not lie down. I use garnier hair putty or elasta qp glaze gel. Are there any other products or methods I need to do? Thanks in advance!

Water, gel, and a scarf. Wink

I have some thick hair and this is the only method I use if I want to slick my edges down.

The scarf method works great overnight. Prepare your puff, put on a scarf while you sleep, and voila! Wake up to laid down edges that stay down all day.

If you do it in the morning, try a little gel then Murray's beeswax.

I also use Ampro clear style gel.
I actually have 6 containers of gel.  Fantasia works for some styles, but it doesn't offer enough hold.  Ecostyler, I almost gave up on it, but now it's working pretty well. Ampro also offers a good hold for me. The other three only provide shine :(

I was in love with It's A Black Thang gel, but it's not sold in any of my BSS's anymore :(
Good luck!
