I've never had to dye my own weave before, and need to. I received three bundles of kinky curly hair today, but it is the natural color. I need it black. I'd love to share pics, but don't know how. Any suggestions on dyeing/sharing the "fresh out the pack" pics? I'll even share the after color pics. I read here quite often, and as long as I've been a member here, I know we love our pics. Thanks, ladies!!

It's really easy. Revlon box dye from Wal-Mart. Follow the instrutions on the box then deep condition. Use photobucket to upload pics.

Thank you! I guess I'm just scared because the hair is kinky. I want to make sure it's colored evenly. Would you suggest I use my Denman to distribute the color? I'll get right on the pics. Will I be able to add them in this thread or will I have to start a new one?

You're welcome.I've never used a denman brush before. Just use gloves to separate and spread the dye on to the hair. You can put it in a bag and swish it around too. And yes you can put your pics in this post.

I've dyed KC hair many times. As the ladies above have said, it's not hard, it's lifting hair that's trickier. I remember watching a fabulosityisme on YT dye hair black with a plastic bag. She must've take the vid down but here is a similar video:

You don't have to do it this way but I dyed my KC in my avi this way. My hair is naturally an medium-light brown. x

There isn't a link that starts with 'img'

These are the links I have:

Her_december, I actually saw that video yesterday. It seems easy enough. Thanks for confirming. I just didn't want to miss any spots. First time jitters. Thanks again. I can't wait to see my results.
