I'm going to try & be as specific as I can:

I have in my hair(sew in) MoTown Tress Human Hair: New Yaki, in the color 27, 12 inch.
The texture of the hair feels & looks natural, not exactly kinky texture but more of a if you were to let your hair air dry after washing it type texture, minus the softness -___- I really love this hair because it looks very similar to my own & is very very thick but I can't find any reviews, tips, advice or even the hair itself anywhere online.

This hair isn't cheap & I'm very well aware of how to take care & manage hair because my own hair is very healthy. I've washed & conditioned (Aphogee Deep Moisture shampoo/ORS replenishing cond.) this hair, let it air dry & lightly oiled it with Argan Oil last night. Going throughout my day, the hair just starts getting dry, not hard or anything but just dry as if it needed moisturizing, so I was hesitant at first, because I don't like a lot of product on my hair nor the weave itself because it should take that much. I used some of Silk Elements leave in moisturizing creme, sectioned the hair off in two buns, wrapped plastic bags around them & waited for awhile. Of course when I unraveled it all, the hair felt soft and moisture but once it dried, the hair reverted to its old state.

I know the products I use are good & I know there has got to be something or some product that can make this hair soft & manageable, I have to wear it in a bun or ponytail whenever I'm out because for some reason, the hair just stays in one place, it has no movement as if it were Indian/Remy etc. type hair.

I'm not sure if anyone has tried this hair but if you have had this problem (dry & stiff hair) or know someone who has had it, I would greatly appreciate your advice & products you have to offer.

Or if you could offer other types of hair brands that looks & feels natural, similar to this & not as pricey. I'm not able to spend $80-100 per bag on hair. I would greatly appreciate it

SN: I haven't used any heat on this hair, I've only had it for a week.

If you need a visual, I will gladly post a picture of the hair.

THANK YOU!

Sorry to say but most hair from the BSS that is colored in any color lighter than #2 will become extremely dry. I'm not sure if it because BSS hair is mixed with synthetic fibers or the chemical they use to dye the hair dries it up, pretty much anything you use on that hair will still become dry and poofy by midday. If is doesn't become dry then it will look dry but be weighed down with product. Hope that helps.

you WANT remy (cuticle aligned hair).  human hair is not necessarily remy.  if it's NOT remy, nothing will help, thow it away.

welcome to the board, you'll find lots of info in this thread:

I know it's a bit pricey but I have found Keratase Ultime Elixir to work wonders on my weave and wigs. It's lightweight and has a higher percentage of good oils rather than cheap fillers, so its more potent
