Hi I'm new to the forum

I've worn weaves for years and recently just started making
Wigs. I've made a few for myself and my family. The issue I'm having is size. Either their always too big or too small. It's driving me nuts. I have wig caps from ali express with straps, but I switched to Japanese swim caps. I've watched a ton of youtube videos. Is it common for the wig to bag in the center? Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Hey Hey,

From my experience, to get the best fit. I normally use masking tape to build the foam head to the exact same size as my head. I use a regular spandex dome cap form the BSS or a Japanese mesh cap. Also be sure to pin your cap down securely using T-pins. This will keep it from tightening up (becoming smaller )or sliding up (leaving excess cap at the top) while your sewing down.

I hope my advice is clear. Let me know if you need me to clarify.

Good Luck
