I have 4c hair and would like to blend my leave out with curly hair after straightening my leave out (which is the most heat I plan to use on my hair). I was thinking of either two-strand twisting my leave out or using flexi rods.

- What do you think?
- How do you blend your leave out?

Is kc or akc?

I do small bantu knots. It's not necessary to straighten your hair. I gave 4b and that's always worked for me. If I wanted smooth edges or roots I put some two and applied a scarf.

It's a spiral curl and what do you mean when you said the words in bold?

Yeaaah...that's probably not going to be very feasible unless you don't mind looking slightly crazy. If you're a real 4c, there's no way your hair will perfectly blend with anything that's curly. Maybe if you had an afro textured wig of some sort.

I can't figure out how to make flexirods stay in place to save the world...lol ugghhh and I have a million of them...bantu knots make my hair look a frizzy nappy mess so I don't even bother with those unless I'm using kinky curly hair.
I usually just straighten my hair and curl it with a small curling iron and that last me for a full week...also at night you could use small rollers to keep the curls...they have small satin covered rollers at the beauty supply store if you're worried about breakage!Big smile

I am 4aish in the front middle of my head & 4b/4c on the front sides. To blend with my afro kinky curly, I flat twisted my front & took it out, it blended well. But I had to be sure to moisturize so it would blend in both color and texture.

and like another poster said, what kind of curly? if it is just a plain spiral curl, you may have to do a bit more of work. But buy flexi rods the size of the spiral curls and make sure your hair color and the wig color match.

The curl looks like this. I'm not sure if it's exactly a spiral curl.

I've never heard of satin covered rollers. I like that idea.
