The Haka (plural is the same as singular: haka) is a traditional ancestral war crydance or challenge from the Māori people of New Zealand

I know what they are doing has nothing to do with the haka.

What I mean is the haka is an intimidating war dance......and it looks like the women are doing an intimidating war dance.....

this was my reaction. Then I imagined all the white people sitting up front through pursed lips like "omg wtf is this sh*t?"

The step was not good. the two YT's sucked and had no damn rhythm. I just don't get it and I don't ever wanna see it again. I agree why did they have to be angry they looked ugly too. I thought steppers had attitude but not anger.

It seems like it was done to mock black women.  There is a total lack of femininity and grace.  There must be at least a few black female steppers who are not overweight.

Respect for black beauty will not achieved by appropriated inclusion. It requires acknowledgement and respect for how black women see themselves, not picking and choosing elements of their experience and presenting them out of context for good publicity.
