hi! I am new to this forum! had my big chop 7 months ago and my hair normally grows slowly but I have invested my time and money into taking care of my hair and it has surprisingly grown to the extent that it can be packed into a tiny bun now Clap. I always do weaves and braids and my edges are practically bald Unhappy... I have just ordered by JBCO and i cant wait to try it but I want a really good deep conditioner and good products in general. I dont have dry hair and my hair is so soft but all I want are good products that can grow my hair quickly and also my edges so that I can rock my natural hair proudly LOL

^^Sounds like you're already doing the right things and your hair is growing, though. If it ain't broke, why fix it? Just keep reading posts to see what others are doing because your hair might decide to behave differently at some point in your journey, but so far, you're doing good!

I have developed zero product loyalty over the years. I don't keep many products at home. And there is certainly nothing out there on the store shelves that I would buy multiple containers of just to stock up.

There are certain products I am likely to buy should I run out of anything, but it varies a lot.

I'm trying to redesign my regimen right now. However there are a few things that are keepers for me:

ACV rinses - This practice has singlehandedly eliminated my dry scalp/flakiness/itching issues. I wish I hadn't been so afraid to try it before! Used to be coconut oil did the job but it stopped working after a while

Glycerin: diluted in water or conditioners. Great stuff
Castor oil/olive oil/honey: I add it to conditioners
Oil rinsing: makes my hair feel like butter but I don't do it often enough because its so time consuming on wash day
Aphogee 2 step: Every 4 to 6 weeks or my hair starts to fall out. More than that and it becomes my worst enemy.

I need to play around with the moisturizers/conditioners I use until I find the perfect combination. Right now I made a mistake with the timing of the Aphogee 2 step and I have some protein overload I'm fighting Ouch

Shampoo - shea moisture cocunut or shea butter
Leave in - shea moisture coconut, aloe vera juice mixture
DC = shea moisture shea butter masque
co wash - tresemme naturals
oil - olive oil
styling - eco styler gel.

It feels so good when you finally find it.  My regime is pretty kiss as well.  Wash once a week, DC on wash day (oil rinse at the end).  Co wash once a week.  I try to put olive oil on my hair daily.

Shampoo:
I only shampoo 1x a month, with Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Shampoo

Cleansing Conditioner:
I switch between Ms. Jessie's Creme De La Curl and As I am Coconut Co-wash 1x per week

Conditioner:
Tressemme Naturals (co-wash), I haven't found a staple DC :(

Oil: Coconut Oil hands down. And a mix for almond oil, lavender oil, and castor oil for sealing.

Creams- Camille Rose Naturals Moisture Milk and Moisturlaide** are the BEST.

Styling: Ecostyler gel
