I don't understand how can your feeling get hurt if you do not even know the person behind the computer screen. I know I can give two f*cks if someone had something negative to say about me. And yes the weave section can get bad but I live in the lace wig section and those women will eat newbies up for dinner.

That makes sense. I mean, not even the hair sections are popping anymore and it's a hair board! I'm missing some of the ratchetness and the huge belly laughter that came from within. It used to be more diversified too, with people posting from all over. Now it's always the same people. They need to do something to get this site going again

Well, tbh, I've seen some crazy ass posts over the years and people going for the jugular. Not so much anymore, though. But if you don't have the stomach for it, it can sting, especially if you're young and impressionable. But it used to be more fun, like you could log on and keel over with laughter for hours on hand and learn things at the same time. I kinda miss that.

Oh yeah, a lot of members don't come here anymore. But it wasn't the women who drove them out.. It was the damn board itself!  BHM was once so glitchy, you couldn't post a thing. Active membership was cut by over 50% because of how annoying it was. Thankfully, that glitch appears rarely now and using forum2 is a major lifesaver.

People get way too personal in their defenses. Like I'll debate all day, but I don't do low blows. And many people do. Drama from one thread gets dragged into another. It gets very messy. And I agree with what another poster said, when I get in my busy seasons of work, I don't hang on BHM. Girl gotta make her money!
