@heavy: you are absolutely right especially when all i have to do is put on my head gear and press a button and enjoy for however long i wish. ok ladies so i stayed up last night putting twists in my hair and also gave my ends a good 1-2 inch trim. here's a pic of how it looks with fresh ends.

@runrun - hiiii!!! *waving* how have you been, girl?! i am looking forward to seeing your mini twists. :-)
@ms.kraizy - woot! welcome!! i love seeing your mini twists too! in terms of products, do you have a preference for no cone, cones, etc. or do you just do what works? and if you use one of your flat iron passes, you have to show us the anniversary pics, kk? :-)
@cia - pretty hurr!
@nolelady - welcome! another jbco lady! where do you get your u-parts?
@naynay - welcome!! those scalp massages are the truth, aren't they? | Thanks Heavy!!! Looking forward to seeing your gorgeous hair grow too!
Ummm, I used to be a tight wad about what went in my hair, but me and my wallet was always fighting. So I'm not particular about anything anymore. Cones, sulfates, free of whatever it doesn't matter. The only thing I'm kinda particular about is mineral oil and petrolatum, but if a product does have that and it smells really good (like biosilk infusion olive oil lotion), I just put it on last after moisturizing my hair really good. My basis is this: must be cheap, readily available, and a bestie for my hair. I think the most expensive items I purchase for my hair would be the oils: avocado and castor oil my hair just LOVES. And that might be it. lol Keepin it simple, that's what's giving me growth these days. =)
And yes, if I do flat iron (cause I've been saying that SINCE I went natural and haven't done it YET! lol) I will DEFINITELY post pics! It will be my first time seeing my hair straight in four years and also seeing my hair actually sweep down my back! I've never had hair go past my neck, so seeing midback length straightened hair that is not detachable will be a miraculous event!

Co-washed with Strawberry milksmoothie Vo5, parted entire head and applied castor oil, massaged for a like 5 minutes, put some purified water in a bottle ( my hair dries quick, especially with 5 year old twins and 16 month old running around, lol) Spritz my ends applied castor oil to ends and did a wet bun.
****I will post my starting pic on December 1st, You can look at the one in the wsl challenge , but this time I want to straighten it to get a tru length check..****
