Assiyra your hair is pretty.

I don't have much going on. My hair is still in Senegalese twists. Right now I am on the search of wigs. I'll repurchase Fab Fringe, and I want a curly wig. Not sure if I want to make a wig/quick weave or buy curly synthetic like Creta Girl

I washed with Giovanni 50/50 hydrating and clarifying shampoo, dc with silicon dc by nunaat, and moisturized with Carols Daughter Healthy Hair Butter and sealed with my whipped Shea butter and coconut oil mix. Let it air dry in medium twists and cornrowed this morning for my wig.

I will be getting a light trim either this week or early next week before my install of Wagmans Virgin Indian Natural Straight/Wavy 12-19". I am debating between two stylist right now because idk how their closure work is .

UPDATE: I washed, conditioned, and re-twisted on Saturday.

Washed with castile soap + water + lil bit of EVOO
Conditioned with cholesterol + egg
Post wash and condition I spritzed with glycerin + water + EVOO, applied a leave-in (don't remember the name right now)
Twisted with castor oil

I usually do a pre-poo, but skipped it this time and used less oil in the castile soap mix. I usually end up too greasy. I also skipped adding oil to the conditioner. It's Monday night and I'm still pretty moisturized.

Thanks ladies! Embarrassed

@Nubiennze Thanks girl! No, I didn’t post anything about them in the thread but I put up an [unnecessarily] long tutorial thing on yt here --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bil8j5qopqQ (not sure how to make it clickable, sry)

@KunoichiNindroid I hope youre feeling better!

@Iskalay I crave a huge natural bun like that too. All in time…

@ Assiyra I love those curls! Your hair looks great!

I washed and deep conditioned this weekend. The Kenra Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner I used were great, and I bought the CON Argan Intensive Conditioner to try because it was cheap, and boy did that show. I am not a fan.

Anyway, I took out my marley twists and planned on just making them a little smaller.... that didn't happen. Every time I start braids or twists, I end up making my sections too small for fear of it looking too spacey, and wind up with a bazillion braids on my head. This weekend was no exception. I am now to proud owner of a new sew of long kinky twists. Still wearing my extensions in a bun because its easiest for work, but I think I will go in and redo them about half size so they're not so bulky.

...and i still have a good bit unfinished under there Ermm

Thanks everyone Smile

@savannavanna do you do your own twists? I'm dying for some Senegalese twists. I was watching some youtube videos and was wondering if I would be able to do my own. Outside of putting in a U-part wig, I've never put my own extensions in.
