Dang! I posted this over an hour ago and I came back all eager to hear responses, but I posted it in BREAKAGE! Anyway, here goes!

I relaxed a week ago, but I don't have any neutralizing shampoo and I can't get one til the end of the month. I know my balance is totally wack, and that neutralizing shampoo would help me, so is there another way to get my ph together?

I was thinking about doing deep protein conditioners once a week. Or is this a bad idea?

I've done this before as well. The deep conditioners really helped.

i think just plain water will do it, i heard that neutralizing shampoo doesn't actually neutralize your hair.

ACV rinse.

Water will not sufficiently lower the pH level of relaxed hair.

Hey guys thanks for the great feedback
All of my friend's are white...they don't need neutralizer shampoos. But I'll do an acv rinse. Will the intense protein treatment NOT work? I have this big batch of homemade protein mix and I'm excited to increase my protein to about once a week. But I don't want to go ahead of myself.

Hot water, acv and condition with moisture? Okay, I'll get on it-thanks guys
