Name of product: Carol's Daughter Hair Milk Curl perfecting Conditioner

Hair texture/type: when I had hair 4 mths ago.......(fine) 3a/b
How did you use the product: As directed, then tried it another way Thumbs Down
Overall satisfaction (scale of 1 to 5): Big fat: 1 (I wish I could get my money back). I just whipped it up with some more "mess" that I have bought that my hair did not like  (added some ivory shea butter to make a hair butter of some type), so it won't go to waste because of the price, so I guess I will use it up before I use my favs. I'm done with Carol and her daughter forever. My hair does not like any of her products!!!! DeadDeadAngry

I am not sure of my hair texture. I just know that it has an S curl shape to it and is porous.
I love this stuff because it makes my dry hair feel soft and renewed. This is especially good after the Aphogee 2-Step Protein treatment. Because of its thickness, I am able to get two uses out of this one pack. I give it a 5

Elasta QP Glaze

Hairtype: in the 4s and porous

I started to use up my stash and found this number in my closet.  I applied like I would any gel: dampen my hair, apply around the edges and use a scarf to lay it down.  When I got to work, after two hours my hair looked a mess.  Oh well I can deal.  But the messed up part is that this stuff makes my scalp itch.  I am going to give away to my cousins.

Suave Captivating Curls

Hair texture/type:  3C
How did you use the product:  leave in or cowash
Overall satisfaction (scale of 1 to 5): StarStarStarStar

I really like this product as a leave in or cowash conditioner.  It made my hair feel suuuuuuper silky!  The only reason why I rated it as 4 stars is because I don't care much for the scent... otherwise it's a great product.

Include stats such as:

Name of product:  Shea Moisture Curl and Style Milk
Hair texture/type: I'm still transitioning I'm about 90%Natural so from what I see looks like 4a/4b (mostly 4b) med coarse
How did you use the product: I used it as a leave in
Overall satisfaction (scale of 1 to 5)
StarStarStarStarStar

I'm quite sure this product has been reviewed somewhere in this thread but I just had to throw in my two cents. My hair lovessss this product. It made my hair soft and shiny and it smells soooo good. I've been transitioning for over a yr now 14 months to be exact and it has taken me this long to finally build a solid regimen and find a leave in that works well with my hair. So far Shea moisture products work well in my hair. I also love the Curl Enhancing Smoothie for my braid outsBig smile

As I Am Naturally DoubleButter Cream

My hair type: a solid 4 (all of them) and porous and damaged at the ends.

My review: Ladies I have given this product a fair chance, I really did.  I used it for a month or so before coming to the conclusion that this product is some world-class bullsh!t on my hair.  My expectations of this product was to provide adequate moisture for my hair that last longer than 8 hours.  A muthafcking week would be absolute love but two days worth would be a'igth.  But this sh*te right here *scoffs* doesn't even give me eight hours of moisture and please believe I used it in a variety of ways.  I misted my hair with rosewater then apply, that sh*te didn't work.  I used it after shampoo and conditioning, that didn't work either.  Then I used the leave in from the same line first then layered the cream on soaking wet hair and ladies I was generous with the amount.  Man I woke up the next day with a brillo pad for hair.  Maybe it is because my hair has some damaged ends but this stuff right hear *pshhhh* ain't worth the 20 odd dollars.  I should roll up to Sally's and demand my refund like:

I should have waited for the Beautiful Textures to hit the shelves.  My only consolation is that I got a free bag when I purchase like 30 something dollars worth of As I Am Naturally from Sally's.  Yeah it is a cheap bag that is worth five dollars and I am being generous here. I need to find that receipt and hopefully it is not too late to return it.  Hell I would accept store credit at this point.

This mess gets no stars or love from me.  Hell I am tempted to snatch all the stars bestowed on this product.
