Hey ladies, its been quite a while since I've had any hair or installs that were "post worthy" here. I had hair from Perfect Locks (specs at bottom) installed for six weeks and I really loved it, I posted a ba-zillion pics on Instagram - the true test, right? Lol. This hair lasted through working out 5-6 days per week, swimming, straightening and coloring. And at the end of the day it was the exact same after all six weeks of wear. I'm so over all these new companies claiming to have "virgin" hair of a million different origins so I respect any company who tells the truth about their virgin hair versus their steam processed collections. Okay...enough talk onto the pictures!
The hair is a beautiful deep wavy texture with consistent, natural looking curls from root to tip. The ends were in great shape, I didn't have to trim or thin them at all. What separates this hair from my previous Indique virgin Indian hair is that it blends exceptionally well with my natural hair. You can clearly see my "leave out" lying atop the Indique hair (right) extensions in the comparison below, while my hair is virtually undetectable from the Perfect Locks (left) hair. Even I couldn't see the difference when styling my hair.
I've worn the hair in its naturally curly state, braid out, straightened, curled with a curling wand and flexi-rodded and it always reverts back to its original texture.

The only con I can say is that the hair shed...quite a bit actually. I did NOT seal the hair before installing, really out of sheer laziness. When I spoke with the owners about the shedding - I gave them my honest feedback about the hair also - they stated that they had revamped their wefting process to eliminate that problem as well as initiated a pre-treatment so the hair would be more manageable, although I didn't have an issue with its manageability. I expect curly hair to require some maintenance, I had no problems with spritzing it with water and braiding into jumbo plaits each night.
I did receive the hair from Perfect Locks for review and have various videos (straightening, products used, nighttime routine...the normal) on my Youtube channel (youtube.com/EbonyCPrincess) and blog but didn't want to spam the post with videos and links.
