I kind of agree with the posters who say be more specific as well. Even when I order from Aliexpress, I'm more specific. There is a language difference and you can't assume all vendors mean the same thing when they describe a product.
Please take it as a lesson learned, and the next time you want hair with little shine and thicker strands, tell them that. Keep going back and forth until you are sure they understand what u mean and if u don't think they do, don't spend your money.
These "braz/peru/malay" labels don't mean anything anymore. The vendors just put them there for the less-knowledgeable people they know will come along and buy it.

Oh, and instead of going through the hassle for a dispute maybe try to recoup your costs on eBay or in M2M and ordering something you prefer. I also agree that if you wash it it might get less silky.
And regarding the short hair sticking up, I had that problem with an Anson closure. Spritz the closure lightly with water after it's attached and use your blow dryer with comb attachment to train those short hairs to lay down. They suck, but you can tame them.

I've cut the short hairs from my closures. Most lace closures seem to have them. I can't recall them on any silk closures (that I can remember).
I understand the hair is not what you want. Post a better picture of the closure and you may get a buyer.

Brazilian hair is just processed Chinese or Indian hair. One vendor's Brazilian may not be the same as another's.
It is important to always ask for pics of what you want if it's not posted on the vendors site.
What you received was Roman's version of Brazilian straight.

I have bought Brazilian hair twice from 2 different CVs and what I received was 2 different versions of Brazilian hair...One coarse and the other silky. Like how the others mentioned, yoj have to specific on what you want.
