Im hair school student working and taking care of my now cancer survivor mother. I want to try sew ins as a protective style but its not in the budget. Also my hair has been relaxed and wrap set for years so up do are almost a struggle to do. I have EL hair and fine hair and thin edges. Its naturally thin. Whats a good way to transition on a budget?

Braids?
But be sure not to do them too tightly.
And you can use castor oil on your edges.

It's really up to you, but I would recommend you  get regular box braids if you want because you said your hair is thin.

Ok i will try it! I need something that will last. I know i have to use human hair, the fake makes my scalp itch so bad after a few days.
