Has anyone ordered from them? They have an Agro Detangler/leave-in conditioner I've been wanting to try after hearing so many great reviews. I placed my order last month, they took my money out of my account, and sent an email saying my order was processed. Great right?!
Well its been a month now, and I have not heard anything else from them! In the initial emails, it stated that I would receive a follow up email containing the shipments tracking number and I haven't even received that! I've tried calling their phone number but the recording says their lines are down. I'vesent over 6 emails, no response. I checked their FAQ page, and it says they ship out bulk orders every 10 days. They don't have any other point of contact listed. I don't know what to do now,i feel robbed.
Has anyone on this site had a successful transaction from this company?? I looked up reviews and some folks on LHCF said it took them 3 months to get their product after ordering. But those reviews were from 2006-2010

I haven't received my products, either, so I think I will have to do a chargeback if they don't respond to me soon.
I didn't like the Afro Detangler. It felt kind of soupy, and I felt like the product just sat on top of my hair. The Flat Ironing Creme worked like a charm for me for flat ironing and moisturizing. It's fantastic and I don't think I have ever experienced anything like it.

I placed an order in January and haven't received it either. I trusted the site bc I ordered from them once before in 2008. I don't remember how long it took to ship then. I've also sent emails and called the number and haven't gotten any responses. I am going to wait a few more weeks. I've never done a chargeback before so I'm not sure what to do or how long to wait for my order/a response. I think after it hits a full month I will call my bank.

Wow...It's just so unprofessional and crooked since she makes sure she gets the money immediately, yet ignores her customers. I'm reporting her to BBB, her site should be shut down if this is her type of business practice. Ridiculous!!

I just called my credit card company who attempted to contact growafrohairlong.com. They said they think the phone number is DISCONNECTED because they didn't receive a response.
I am not able to get a charge back processed for 30 days from the date of the order, so I'll have to wait it out, but after I get my money back, I am definitely going to make calls to make sure the website gets shut down.

Yes I purchased a sample of the detangler back in 2009 and then in 2011 purchased a 32oz of the detangler.
The sample (back in 09') took probably a week to arrive but the 2011 larger size took a VERRRRRY long time before I finally got it in the mail- probably 4-5 weeks.. but it finally did come.
I really like it as a prepoo, however when I run out I will not purchase from the company again.. due to the shipping time and the unreliability of the company.

I made a dispute with my bank. I got a "temp" refund and they are investigating the case still. I will update on it. Meanwhile it has been a month from my transaction with groafrohairlong.com and I still have not gotten my goods, a transaction number, or a reply to my two emails sent in January.
I will never do business with this company and let this thread be a warning for those who are considering or those like me who have purchased in the past with no issues. Things have now changed.
