Yea I saw that post. I was just wondering if any New Yorkers go to her. |
Jenny Lind was amazing, I loved what she did with my hair when i was NY over the thanksgiving holiday. Hands down one of the better stylists and the price was right! HTH
edited to add that I am a New Yorker, but I am living in London for a few years

I was suppose to get my install done by Jenny Lind today but she had a family emergency. I did stay and watched her do someone install and she did a wonderful job and she is really knowledgeable (sp?)about weaves and she answered all my questions. Now I'm not nervous about getting my weave done on Saturday.

Hi, I just wanted to say that I'm not a fan of Celena. My best friend and I both went there and had horrible experiences. She was late, because of fashion shoots with my best friend.
She ended putting so many tracks in my hair that my head was hot in the middle of Fall!
She destroyed my Bohyme hair by the way she cut it.
With my best friend she sewed the hair so tight that she had bumps around the edges for days.
I was sooo disappointed because now I'm back on the hunt for a new stylist.

Sorry to hear that.. I've been with her for years, I've never had a problem with her, yea everyone now and then she may be late because of her schedule, but I can say she always communicate with me and keep me posted by text or phone call. She's very professional with me and I love her work,

There's a local weavologist by the name of Bre that works out of her apartment in Brooklyn and she is the bomb.com Her place is so comfy and clean. She is a sweetheart, down to earth, and works quickly, she's so professional also. I preferred getting my hair done at her place rather than go to the salon because no one has to be in my face while I'm getting my weave installed. LOL
A friend of mine recommend me to her, and she is my new weavologist.
Anyway her rates are so affordable. For a full head install, she only charges $65 when should she should be really charging $100+ but she says says her price will not go up.
her services are: Traditional Installation $65 Net Weaves $75+ w/ Tightening $30 Weave Partial $45 Individual Tracks $10per row Wig Caps (glue) $50
She's in the process of building her professional photos, but she has client photos available upon request.
I recommend her, especially if you're not trying to spend a lot! Also the reason why her prices are so low is because she asks that you have your hair washed prior.
her email is weavesbybre@gmail.com

I went to her this week and she was wonderful- very friendly, open to questions, answers them all without the feeling like your getting on her nerves, answered all my questions prior to my appointment, gave me suggestions and tips to take care of my hair (Im trying BB for the 1st time) and had me walk out her chair and got a compliment on my hair half way down the block walking to my car! I haven't had a style like that in a while. Everyone that I've seen so far really loves my hair (including the sales woman in Macy's). She has such a sweet personality and it really does shine through. My hair is not too tight, it actually feels like nothing is there and it's holding up very well. She was very open to my crazy work schedule and it worked out well. I would definitly go back to her for a second time. HTH
Sorry it's so long , just trying to answer your question fully
