I dont know whats going on but these last few weeks my hair has become super managable. It also began responding to things that didnt work in the past. now for the last few weeks i can easily lay my hair down w/some vasaline & condish! This never happened before! My hair lays down & stays down!

i have been using shea & avocado butter trying to get the wavy effect but my hair ended up dull, greasy and puffy. this is SO much cheaper! also VO5 conditioners are working beautifully. they would leave my hair a bit crispy before but now its my main moisturizer for bunning!

now my product budget has been reduced from $50 to $20 and my regimen is super simple. i wear braided pigtail and bun them up most days and wear a southerntease bun on sunday. i just refresh w/water and tie it down & my hair is perfect! Im lovin it!

I updated my fotki with pics. its not much but enjoy!

Well I'm glad that you found something that works for you. I've just recently discovered the wonders and joy of S-Curl.

What the hell would I do without it? Its weird how things that didn't work before work wonders now!

I had to step inside this thread because grease will do the trick!  I never gave up on my old & trusty.

Here's how it usually goes down for me

Shea Butter & Conditioner

or

Grease & Conditoner

Sometime shea butter is too heavy for certain styles, so grease will make it happen.

My theory, all these butters ain't NOTHING by expensive versions of grandmas grease.  LOL
