Hey ladies! I've been try to apply using the got2b as my adhesive since i'm doing daily apps. I mix the glue with the spray, then apply with a q-tip. While it does hold, the issue I have is it's turning white and shiny when it dries. I've tried applying the lace when wet, letting the glue get tacky before applying, using less, and always the same issue. Anyone know what in doing wrong? I think next I might try using the spray over the top of the lace.

TIA!

I know what your talking about. It turns white and crusty. You gotta let the gel turn clear first. What I do it since the gel is white I apply that first with my pinger, then let it turn clear and spray the holding spray on top of it. I apply my lace then tie a scarf tight for it to bond on tight. Whatever residue is left I just wipe off with water. HTH's  Im still learning from the ladies also but this is what helps me. I hate the white crust.

This is the one I use. It comes out clear and dries clear.

Carrie I must try this one. I use the one in the yellow bottle and its white but dries pretty clear until it flakes up. OP hope this helps. If anyone lives near a Publix the spray is in the clearance bin.

Okay, I need to try this one as the other one flakes in white. Can you post your app routine?

TIA

@slikchick do you tie your unit down after applying G2B?  I'm wondering if that's the reason you're getting the white residue.

I did that the first couple of times, then today I tried just using the comb to press it in and still got white flaky edges :(

Cosmo, I have elastic sewn into mine - Tootie's Mom Method. I put the wig on secure with my plastic Goody hairpins (2 each side, stuck into my braids underneath). then lift up the edges and top, run a thin layer of the G2B glue in my hairline and place the hairline where I want it. Holds all day for me.
